The Dean is endowed with the powers of law and representation, being elected by the members of the Faculty Board from among the full professors and is nominated by the Rector. The mandate lasts three years.

The office hours are generally scheduled as follows:
- Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00, at the Dean's office (room 6 of the Faculty Presidency, 3rd floor - RM111 Building C, Viale Regina Elena 295);
- Friday from 9:00 to 10:00, at the Dean's office (room 6 of the Faculty Presidency, 3rd floor - RM111 Building C, Viale Regina Elena 295).
